One Year Anniversary

Guys, I'm about to get dorkily sentimental on you. I suggest anyone who dislikes this sort of thing ( ) leave before being disgusted.

So today; July 29, 2009, marks the one year anniversary of me becoming an Earthworm Jim fan. Now, I'm sure a lot of you are thinking: 'But Cheri! You've obsessed over plenty of things, why not do anniversary pics for those?' Because, frankly, none of them have been such a huge inspiration for me as Jim has. Jim has inspired me to do many things, to draw better, to be a better friend, and to never settle for less. He showed me that no matter who you are, or where you came from, you can always achieve great things (it helps to have a super suit fall on you from space too) and be a hero, even if it is just to yourself. Jim is as much of a part of me as any organ or limb of my body, and I'm not ashamed to admit that.

So, I guess I should say thanks to Doug TenNapel for making Jim, and in turn, changing my life for the better.
